MS Story II
Because people have been asking us…
…here’s the continued story from My Story of MS and the CCSVI Treatment. Much has happened since and decisions made.
Heidi, myself and our daughter Tanya will be flying to Los Cabos, Mexico, on August 7 where I will begin thorough testing and treatment on the following day, August 8, 8:30am, at the Clinic of the Heart. (More …)

My Story of MS and the CCSVI Treatment
I thought it was appropriate and necessary for me to post a personal note and perspective on the CCSVI treatment for MS. I wanted you to understand my personal situation and how decisions in the Canadian Parliament will be impacting me directly.
As a point of reference, I took time to read through the entire debate that was held in the Canadian House of Commons on June 14 on the topic of Multiple Sclerosis. It read like an unskilled preacher that had two opposing points and repeated them over and over again and then finally ended without a decision. However, I read every word. My sympathies as you sit in on any of these debates. (More …)

My brother has MS and his doctor did refer him for an ultrasound of his neck and the technician found that the veins very extremely narrow, so we are of the opinion that CCSVI applies to him. We have been searching everything we can find on the internet to get him the treatment. We recently came across a clinic in Cabo San Lucas called the Clinic of the Heart which offers the treatment for approx. $11,000 which includes an MRI, the procedure, follow up and accomodation. My brother is going in September, he received a response from them in 3 days and his trip has been scheduled within a month. I wish you the best with your journey and I will update you on what we hope will be my brother’s successful treatment.

Hi Yvonne. This is exactly where we are at! They are wonderful people. To clarify though the costs… It is 9,500 for the procedure, $850 for the MRI and about $900 for the hotel (food not included). Just wanted you to be fully prepared! but so far worth every penny!

Hi Tanya, I just spoke to my brother and he would love to know how your father’s treatement works. We are all very excited to hear how well it is going for your family and it good to know that you feel it is worth every penny.

Thanks for the pretreatment video. We watched it this morning and saw it as Gerry’s reality. It was good to be together as siblings last night ..spending time together and looking forward to Gerry’s future. We went for a short walk while he rode with our other brother Ken in the gator. Soon ..he’ll be doing those walks on his own.
